Neelu has Transported & Transformed her Threading Bar into a Beauty Emporium at Arnott’s Department store.

neelus14Due to public demand Neelu has now moved her Threading Bar from the Henry Street entrance into the main beauty hall in Arnotts. Neelu is well know for her passion and love of eyebrows, will now be extending her services to well beyond the treatment of “eyes, lashes & threading” and will now offer, her full array of natural and non-invasive beauty treatments to all Arnott’s customers.

Neelu at Arnotts’ New Beauty Emporium encompasses up to 1,000 square feet of space & will be open 7 days a week and staffed by at least six beauty therapists at any given time.

Neelu who has an innate and genuine love of beauty, has always loved to share both her knowledge and expertise with clients, during their treatments. While Neelu was threading a client she would listen to them complain and confide as to what they hated most about their looks and caused them upset and inhibited their confidence most.

Neelu would offer advice on how these flaws could be either reduced or often removed. Neelu could provide solutions on anything from how semi – permanent make up, can improve the confidence of those who have lost their eyebrows after chemotherapy, to how broken capillaries can be removed and how to best reduce the chances of them reappearing.

Instantly restoring their confidence and making them feel better about themselves!

Clients often requested if Neelu could provide such treatments for them, but many couldn’t easily travel all the way to Dun Laoghaire, so Neelu decided to provide the same services in Arnotts as she does in her Dun Laoghaire salon. Neelu at Arnotts was thus born.

LA Make Up launches Irish Federation of Makeup Artists.

Sunday, September 14th, 2008

Tuesday night saw the official launch party of IFMA in Odessa, Dame St. Dublin. Founded by LA Makeup Academy, Irish and International make up professionals gathered together to celebrate the introduction of this representative organisation for the profession of Make-Up artists in Ireland.

While enjoying a bite to eat and a refreshing drink (or two), body painted models and dancers mingled with the guests. Everyone wanted a picture! Midway through the party Lorraine O’Neill stood before the crowd and spoke eloquently about the accomplishments of LA Make up Academy, IFMA and their future promises to Irish make up artists.

IFMA is here to raise the status of make-up artistry as a profession in Ireland, to provide advisory services to its members, to private creative and competitive platforms through which their members’ skills can be developed. The Federation provides an Advice Line whereby members can get help or advice relating to trade or employment issues. IFMA is a non – profit organization. For more details see www.ifma.ie
