Job Description

Beauty therapist/ Nail technician required for a busy beauty salon based in the heart of village of Kill. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified, with a very high standard of work , friendly, reliable and be able to work as part of a team. Applicants must be ITEC, CIBTAC, CIDESCO qualified or hold certificates in all nail treatments. You must be extremely confident in all aspects of waxing including specialised waxing preferably waxperts trained, Have a high standard of BIAB nails, gel polish and gel nail application and acrylic nails, Dermalogica trained also a huge advantage, Makeup application and spray tanning essential, HD brows and LVL lash lifts also an advantage, if you are trustworthy, flexible and capable of running a busy column to a high standard we would love to hear from you.

Primary Duties

The ideal candidate will be expected to be extremely trustworthy and reliable and have a passion for beauty, you must be extremely skilled in:

 

  • Gel polish application
  • Biab nails 
  • Acrylic nails 
  • Gel nails
  • Threading
  • HD brows
  • LVL lash lifts
  • Brow lamination 
  • Waxing including specialised waxing 
  • Threading
  • Tinting
  • Spray tans
  • Makeup application
  • Facial treatments 
  • massage 

Other duties:

  • Reception duties
  • Ability to retail
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the salon is essential.

 

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Requirements

5 Years + minimum experience.
  • Minimum 3year experience.
  • Candidates must hold a beauty therapy qualification with ITEC CIBTAC CIDESCO.
  • Candidate must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player, while being confident and able to work on their own ability.
  • Must be qualified in Biab nails,Gel nails,Acrylic nails, & Gel polish application to a high standard.
  • Be confident in using hot wax as we are a waxperts salon, specialised waxing and threading also required.
  • Must be either Yonka or dermalogica trained
