Job Description

Kingfisher Spa, Renmore is currently recruiting for an experienced Spa Manager/ Therapist. The successful individual will oversee the day to day running of the spa and will oversee all aspects of the operations in the Spa and have excellent knowledge and experience in the industry.

Primary Duties

The Candidate:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Manager/Supervisory role.

Punctual, highly organised and possess excellent customer service skills.

Driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office and Phorest or any Spa/salon software system.

Strong retail skills.

Experience in using the Environ Skincare range, Advanced nutrition Program Supplements, Jane Iredale Makeup, Advanced Waxing and Shellac.

Excellent oral and communication skills.

Fluent in English both oral and written.

First Aid an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

Inform staff of job responsibilities, performance expectations, client service standards, or corporate policies and guidelines.

Plan or direct spa services and programs.

Set employee schedules, ensure that employees receive ongoing training and hold staff meetings to keep employees updated on spa procedures and policies.

Set annual financial goals, review costs for spa procedures and services and establish budgets for advertising, sales campaigns and promotional events.

Create promotional and public relations campaigns. Generate sales and assist in creating membership incentives and sales promotions.

 

Make sure that facilities are properly cleaned and that all equipment is in working order.  Ensure that tools are adequately sterilized, linens are washed, and a proper inventory of supplies are maintained.

Spa Manager Skills

Developing marketing and promotional strategies, as well as advertising campaigns

Hiring, training and developing staff

Proficient in sales with a proven track record.

Developing customer relationships and measuring customer satisfaction

Evaluating and establishing sales goals

Knowledgeable about the ways to measure customer satisfaction to retain existing clients and attract new ones.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and Excel and knowledgeable in the use of Salon software systems, specifically Phorest Salon Software systems, but not exclusively.

Knowledgeable in advertising/promotions/marketing responsibilities and proficient in using all social media platforms, specifically facebook, Instagram and snapchat to communicate information about the business. 

2+ years management experience in a similar role.

ITEC, CIBTAC and CIDESCO Qualifications.
