We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis, working Thursday, Friday and Saturday (some Sundays for cover)

This is an important front-of-house role for someone who is passionate about client experience, confident within the beauty industry and enjoys working in a busy, professional and commercially driven environment. You will be the first point of contact for clients and play a key role in ensuring every visit to Beauty One is welcoming, seamless and exceptional.

Primary Duties

  • Deliver a warm, professional and personalised welcome to every client
  • Manage appointments, bookings and client records using Phorest
  • Answer telephone calls, emails and client enquiries efficiently and professionally
  • Manage the reception area and ensure the smooth running of the client journey
  • Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service
  • Promote treatments, products, gift vouchers and relevant services
  • Confidently recommend treatments and products based on client needs
  • Rebook clients and support client retention
  • Work towards and achieve agreed sales and performance targets
  • Process payments and maintain accurate client records
  • Support therapists and the wider team throughout the day
  • Maintain the high standards and professional image of Beauty One at all times

Requirements

3 Years minimum experience.
  • Previous experience in a reception, front-of-house or client-facing role within the beauty, salon, skincare or aesthetics industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for client care
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the beauty industry
  • Experience with Phorest or a similar salon/clinic booking system
  • Commercially aware with the confidence and ability to achieve sales targets
  • Confident recommending treatments and products to clients
  • Highly organised, reliable and professional
  • Friendly, approachable and positive personality
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
  • A genuine desire to grow and develop with Beauty One
