We are looking for a fully qualified and experienced Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality treatments, have a professional and friendly approach, and be committed to providing an excellent experience for every client.

Primary Duties

• Conduct thorough client consultations to understand individual needs, preferences, medical considerations and treatment goals.
• Provide a range of professional massage and holistic treatments tailored to each client.
• Assess areas of tension, muscular discomfort and stress to determine appropriate treatment techniques.
• Deliver treatments safely, professionally and to a consistently high standard.
• Adapt pressure, techniques and treatment plans according to individual client requirements and feedback.
• Maintain a calm, welcoming and professional treatment environment.
• Provide advice on aftercare, relaxation, hydration, stretching and general wellbeing where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client treatment records.
• Ensure treatment rooms, equipment and work areas are clean, hygienic and fully prepared between appointments.
• Follow salon health, safety, hygiene and infection-control procedures.
• Maintain professional boundaries and ensure client comfort, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
• Manage appointments efficiently and ensure treatments run to schedule.
• Build strong professional relationships with clients and encourage repeat bookings through excellent customer service.
• Recommend suitable treatments and appropriate salon products based on clients’ needs.
• Work collaboratively with other therapists, stylists and salon staff to provide a high-quality overall client experience.
• Keep up to date with new massage techniques, holistic therapies, industry standards and professional development.
• Handle client feedback professionally and respond appropriately to any concerns or queries.
• Contribute to maintaining the salon’s professional reputation and high standards of service.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Massage Therapist with recognised qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years’ professional experience.
• Confident in carrying out a range of massage treatments.
• Excellent knowledge of massage techniques, client care and treatment protocols.
• Professional, reliable and well-presented.
• Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills.
• Able to work independently while also being a positive team member.
• High standards of hygiene, professionalism and customer service.
• Desirable / Bonus Qualifications Additional qualifications or experience in other beauty, wellness or body services would be a strong advantage. This could include areas such as:
• Body treatments
• Facials and skincare
• Reflexology
• Lymphatic drainage
• Hot stone massage
• Sports massage
• Aromatherapy
• Other holistic or wellness treatments
