Skincare Trainer & Pharmacy Merchandiser – Dublin

We are looking for an experienced skincare professional to support our pharmacy business across Dublin City and surrounding areas. This role involves providing skincare training and product education to pharmacy teams, alongside merchandising and supporting our Sales Representative.

The ideal candidate will have strong skincare knowledge, previous experience working in pharmacy, beauty retail or skincare sales, and the confidence to educate pharmacy staff on skin concerns and appropriate product solutions.

You will be working across a portfolio of leading brands including Uriage, DECLÉOR, PHYTO Hair Care and Mustela.

Primary Duties

• Deliver engaging skincare training to pharmacy staff on products, ingredients, skin concerns and selling techniques.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of skin conditions and common skin concerns, and be able to recognise the differences between concerns such as dry skin and dehydrated skin.
• Develop pharmacy teams' confidence in recommending appropriate skincare products within their role.
• Provide product knowledge and training across Uriage, DECLÉOR, PHYTO Hair Care and Mustela.
• Ensure products are correctly positioned, presented and merchandised according to brand guidelines.
• Maintain excellent relationships with pharmacy teams and represent the brands professionally.
• Support our Sales Representative with pharmacy visits, product launches, promotions and merchandising activity.
• Identify opportunities to improve product visibility, sales and brand awareness within pharmacies.
• Ideally have some knowledge of hair and scalp care, including basic hair/scalp anatomy.
• A good understanding of skin anatomy and physiology would be highly advantageous.
• Provide feedback to the Sales Representative on pharmacy needs, customer questions and opportunities.
• Keep up to date with skincare, haircare and product knowledge.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate

Previous professional skincare experience is essential.

Experience selling or training within pharmacy, beauty retail or the skincare industry.

Strong knowledge of skin types, skin concerns and skincare routines.

Confident explaining the difference between dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Comfortable training pharmacy staff and building professional relationships.

Commercially aware, with a passion for skincare and achieving sales results.

Haircare/scalp knowledge and understanding of skin and hair anatomy would be an advantage.

Full driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Dublin City and surrounding areas.
