Skin Therapist / Aesthetician / Skin Specialist

Company Introduction
Celebrate Skin is a skin health and wellbeing focused clinic that was established in 2017. Our ethos revolves around making our clients comfortable in their own skin by advancing their skin health and wellbeing. We treat all skin types and conditions through our various skincare brands, supplements, treatments and clinical modalities. We specialise in a detailed Skin Consultation and from that, following a plan that will bring our clients towards their skincare and wellbeing goals.

Location and Working Arrangements
This role is based in Celebrate Skin, Kilmacredock, Maynooth, Co. Kildare. We are in a rural location and transport will be required to get to and from work. The work hours on offer are completely flexible with morning, afternoon and evening hours available Monday to Saturday. Successful applicants will be required to work some evenings and some Saturdays. Successful applicants need to be comfortable working by themselves. We are a one treatment room clinic with one client and one therapist here at a time. This role is for a self-motivated and confident therapist.

Employment Type
The position on offer is part-time/fixed term to begin with. Successful applicants who are successful in their role, happy and want to move to a permanent position may be offered the opportunity to do so.

Salary and Benefits
Pay rate on offer will reflect ability, experience and competence. Annual leave will be offered in line with statutory allowances. Personal retail will be available at a generous staff discount.

Primary Duties

Key Responsibilities

1.        To perform skin consultations to a high standard

2.        To perform an array of skin treatments to a very high standard

3.        To keep workspace and the clinic clean, hygienic and welcoming at all times

4.        To take detailed notes of all treatments performed and to communicate skincare plans/homecare routines with clients

5.        To perform stock takes and ensure online inventory matches available stock

6.        To attend trainings and staff meetings as they arise

Requirements

Must Have requirements

1.        ITEC L3 or equivalent, or higher in Beauty Specialist / Skin Treatments, to include face and body electrics

2.        A good knowledge of the anatomy of the skin, skincare ingredients and the mechanism of action of modalities such as LED, Peeling Systems and Microneedling Systems

3.        An understanding of common skin conditions, with a keenness to keep learning!

4.        A genuine passion for working with skin and a passion and willingness to learn

5.        An ability to work on a one to one basis with clients and take them on a goal-focused skin journey

6.        An ability to nurture, educate and show our clients the utmost care and attention

Nice to Have Requirements

1.        Qualifications and experience in advanced Skin Treatments such as Chemical Peels, Microneedling, Mesotherapy

2.        Qualifications in holistic Skin and Well Being Treatments

3.        Brand trainings and certificates
